So I thought this weeks blog a good opportunity to tell you all some interesting more about our FANTASTIC make-up range.

INIKA makeup is manufactured by our Australian cousins across the ditch. It is 100 percent Organic

It was born from a collaboration between two friends, Miranda Bond, and Jenni Williams. They were on a lifelong journey towards toxic free living, however, believed that they should not have to compromise on colour or performance with their makeup.

Nothing in the Australasian market measured up and thus INIKA was born.

INIKA is Completely free of harsh petrochemicals, fillers, talc, bismuth oxychoride, GM ingredients, parabens, preseratives, mineral oils, Phthalates, and fragreances.

At Bodycafe, we believe that you should not compromise your skin care by using poor quality makeup, we trialled a number of high profile make-up ranges, and only INIKA measured up, it “ticked all our boxes” its even certified as Vegan, and 100 percent Halal.

We love everything about this makeup, and it is one of the few brands that is commonly referred by dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons for patients who have had chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.

We are looking for a person who has a story to tell about their skin. This person will be able to tell us in 250 words or less what it is they would like to change about their skin, and Body Cafe, together with Numue Skin care, and Stacey Hancock – Nutritionist personal trainer and coach, will commit 16 weeks to making you “be all you can be”

This is an opportunity for those of you who really want to make some positive changes in your lives, to improve your skin, and your well-being and overall levels of confidence.

To balance the Nimue formulations & to keep it from going off, Nimue has previously used Parabens. This is a controversal preservative, and has sadly got a bad rap.

Infact, the amount of parabens used in keeping the peace in an entire jar of Nimue moisturiser is less than what is in a loaf of bread to keep it from going mouldy quickly.

But wait! Now we are ending all Paraben association & it is being replaced with an alternative globally approved chemical system that is Paraben Free. The preservative systems in the new formulations are based on Ethylhexyglycerin, Sorbic Acid, & Phenoxyelthanol. Nimue is constantly investigating botanically based preservative systems but as yet no suitable clinically proven alternative is available,

In autumn, your skin tends to retain less moisture as the air is cooling and the wind is drying. Indoors, we are getting colder so those air conditioners are getting turned up!

Nimue have created a world first breakthrough in skincare with their Stemplex Serum
