Brow Tidy aka Catepillar Removal
October 5, 2011 | Leave a Comment
Imagine my horror when I went to touch up my makeup in full sunlight last week. HOLY COW! So much for friendship. Why hadn’t anyone told me that I had caterpillars walking across my forehead?
About two months ago, I started renovations and had to take down the mirror in the bathroom and the mirror in the living room. Both had great natural light and were perfect for putting on makeup and tweezing my eyebrows. Obviously the mirror in the bedroom isn’t up to scratch in the lighting department.
Once I had my heart rate back under control, I was able to think straight and the first thought that came to mind was “Body Café will save me!”. One tweet later and my appointment was made.
Tara offered me the choice of either waxing or tweezing, but I chose waxing because of the little blonde blighters that had crept up on me since the
Because the brow tidy went so well, I’m just going to leave my brow shaping to the Body Café team from now on. It saves me the hassle, and means that I can have a nice, relaxed natter about whatever’s on my mind whilst being pampered on their comfortable beds.
In closing, I’d just like to say…need a brow renovation? Make an appointment with Body Café, you won’t be disappointed. Promise.

The importance of customer service
April 5, 2011 | 1 Comment
OK I admit it, its been a long time since i sent out a Blog post to all of the fantastic customers at BodyCafe.
This year we have again won the accolade of the top Nimue Salon in New Zealand, so we are hugely thankful to everyone involved in our business.
Lately however I have been thinking about the way we treat our customers and what it is that makes people decide to come to us, as opposed to our competition.
We have a fantastic product in Nimue, we have convenient locations at River Road, and Victoria street, and we have outstanding staff that I am so proud of.
These things all add up to a good experience, but we don’t want good…….we want great…..we want the best.
We recognize that the “experience” starts from the moment you ring, email, tweet, facebook, text us for an appointment and we want to make that experience “remarkable” we want you to tell your friends about us, about the way YOU felt special.
And if the experience doesn’t live up to your expectations, we want to know about it.
I read a great post on twitter the other day that said “the difference between an amateur and a professional is what they do when no one is watching, not what they do when everyone is watching”
This sums it up perfectly for us, we are YOUR clinic, we are YOUR therapists, we provide YOUR experience, we are PROFESSIONALS.
If we see your regularly “thanks so much”, if we haven’t seen you for a while “we would love to see you again soon”
What better reason than our April 2 for 1 special deal get a lash tint and a brow tidy for a measly $40, ….and bring a friend for free.
See you soon, stay beautiful…..Megan xx

Blinc Mascara
Listed #2 most searched for mascara on AOL Search
Nearly ten years ago, Blinc became the pioneer of what the brand calls "tube technology." Blinc Mascara forms tiny water resistant "tubes" around the lash when applied, amplifying their volume and length. Once set, the tubes bind to the lashes – unlike conventional mascara that simply paints color onto the lash – and will not run, smudge, clump or flake, even if you cry, sweat or rub your eyes. So NO MORE PANDA EYES!! Ideal for if you wear contacts or have sensitive eyes! Just $49, instore now
